Surah An-Naml

Meaning: The Ant (পিঁপড়া)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

27:1

طسٓ ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ

Bengali:তা-সীন, এগুলো কুরআনের আয়াত ও সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের;
English (Saheeh International):Ṭā, Seen.1 These are the verses of the Qur’ān [i.e., recitation] and a clear Book
27:2

هُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Bengali:মু’মিনদের জন্য পথের দিশা ও সুসংবাদ
English (Saheeh International):As guidance and good tidings for the believers
27:3

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

Bengali:যারা নামায কায়েম করে, যাকাত আদায় করে আর তারা আখিরাতে বিশ্বাসী।
English (Saheeh International):Who establish prayer and give zakāh, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].
27:4

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

Bengali:যারা আখিরাতে বিশ্বাস করে না, তাদের (চোখে) তাদের কর্মকান্ডকে আমি সুশোভিত করেছি, কাজেই তারা উদভ্রান্ত হয়ে ঘুরে বেড়ায়,
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.
27:5

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ

Bengali:এরাই হল যাদের জন্য রয়েছে কঠিন শাস্তি আর এরাই আখিরাতে সবচেয়ে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
English (Saheeh International):Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers.
27:6

وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ

Bengali:নিশ্চয় তোমাকে কুরআন দেয়া হয়েছে মহাবিজ্ঞ সর্বজ্ঞের নিকট হতে।
English (Saheeh International):And indeed, [O Muḥammad], you receive the Qur’ān from one Wise and Knowing.
27:7

إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا سَـَٔاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ ءَاتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ

Bengali:স্মরণ কর যখন মূসা তার পরিবারবর্গকে বলেছিল- ‘আমি আগুন দেখেছি, কাজেই আমি শীঘ্রই সেখান থেকে তোমাদের জন্য খবর নিয়ে আসব কিংবা তোমাদের কাছে জ্বলন্ত আগুন নিয়ে আসব যাতে তোমরা আগুন পোহাতে পার।’
English (Saheeh International):[Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves."
27:8

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهَا نُودِىَ أَنۢ بُورِكَ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

Bengali:অতঃপর সে যখন আগুনের কাছে আসল তখন আওয়াজ হল- ‘ধন্য, যারা আছে এই আলোর মধ্যে আর তার আশেপাশে, বিশ্বজাহানের প্রতিপালক পবিত্র, মহিমান্বিত।
English (Saheeh International):But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allāh, Lord of the worlds.
27:9

يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

Bengali:হে মূসা! আমি মহা পরাক্রান্ত প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহ।
English (Saheeh International):O Moses, indeed it is I - Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
27:10

وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنٌّ وَلَّىٰ مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّى لَا يَخَافُ لَدَىَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Bengali:তুমি তোমার লাঠি নিক্ষেপ কর; অতঃপর যখন সে ওটাকে ছুটাছুটি করতে দেখল যেন ওটা একটা সাপ, তখন সে পেছনের দিকে ছুটতে লাগল এবং ফিরেও দেখল না। (তখন বলা হল) হে মূসা! তুমি ভয় করো না, নিশ্চয়ই আমার কাছে রসূলগণ ভয় পায় না।
English (Saheeh International):And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return.1 [Allāh said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear.
27:11

إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًۢا بَعْدَ سُوٓءٍ فَإِنِّى غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Bengali:তবে যে অত্যাচার করে অতঃপর মন্দ কাজের পরিবর্তে সৎ কাজ করে, তাহলে নিশ্চয় আমি ক্ষমাশীল, বড়ই দয়ালু।
English (Saheeh International):Otherwise, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil - indeed, I am Forgiving and Merciful.
27:12

وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ ۖ فِى تِسْعِ ءَايَـٰتٍ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ

Bengali:আর তুমি তোমার হাত বগলে ঢুকাও, তা শুভ্র হয়ে বের হয়ে আসবে দোষমুক্ত অবস্থায়, তা হল ফেরাউন ও তার সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট নিয়ে আসা নয়টি নিদর্শনের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
English (Saheeh International):And put your hand into the opening of your garment [at the breast]; it will come out white without disease. [These are] among the nine signs [you will take] to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient."
27:13

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

Bengali:অতঃপর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার দৃশ্যমান নিদর্শন আসল, তারা বলল- ‘এটা স্পষ্ট যাদু।
English (Saheeh International):But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, "This is obvious magic."
27:14

وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا ۚ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ

Bengali:তারা অন্যায় ঔদ্ধত্যভরে নিদর্শনগুলোকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করল যদিও তাদের অন্তর এগুলোকে সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস করেছিল। অতএব দেখ, ফাসাদ সৃষ্টিকারীদের পরিণতি কেমন হয়েছিল!
English (Saheeh International):And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters.
27:15

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ عِلْمًا ۖ وَقَالَا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Bengali:আমি দাঊদ ও সুলাইমানকে জ্ঞান দান করেছিলাম। তারা উভয়ে বলেছিল, ‘সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর যিনি তাঁর বহু মু’মিন বান্দাদের উপর আমাদেরকে মর্যাদা দান করেছেন।’
English (Saheeh International):And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, "Praise [is due] to Allāh, who has favored us over many of His believing servants."
27:16

وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ دَاوُۥدَ ۖ وَقَالَ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ ٱلطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

Bengali:সুলাইমান দাঊদের উত্তরাধিকারী হয়েছিল। সে বলেছিল- ‘হে মানুষেরা! আমাকে পক্ষীকুলের ভাষা শিক্ষা দেয়া হয়েছে আর আমাদেরকে সব কিছু দেয়া হয়েছে, এটা (আল্লাহর পক্ষ হতে) অবশ্যই সুস্পষ্ট অনুগ্রহ।’
English (Saheeh International):And Solomon inherited David. He said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty."
27:17

وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ جُنُودُهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

Bengali:সুলাইমানের সামনে তার সেনাবাহিনীকে সমবেত করা হল, জ্বিন, মানুষ ও পক্ষীকুলকে; অতঃপর তাদেরকে বিভিন্ন বুহ্যে বিন্যস্ত করা হল।
English (Saheeh International):And gathered for Solomon were his soldiers of the jinn and men and birds, and they were [marching] in rows
27:18

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمْلُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ مَسَـٰكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

Bengali:যখন তারা পিপীলিকার উপত্যকায় আসল তখন একটি পিপীলিকা বলল- ‘ওহে পিঁপড়ার দল! তোমাদের বাসস্থানে ঢুকে পড়, যাতে সুলাইমান ও তার সৈন্যবাহিনী তাদের অগোচরে তোমাদেরকে পদপিষ্ট ক’রে না ফেলে।
English (Saheeh International):Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."
27:19

فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

Bengali:সুলাইমান তার কথায় খুশিতে মুচকি হাসল আর বলল- ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! তুমি আমার প্রতি ও আমার পিতামাতার প্রতি যে অনুগ্রহ দান করেছ তার জন্য কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশের আমাকে শক্তি দান কর আর যাতে এমন সৎকাজ করতে পারি যাতে তুমি সন্তুষ্ট হও আর তোমার দয়ায় আমাকে তোমার সৎকর্মশীল বান্দাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত কর।’
English (Saheeh International):So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, enable me1 to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants."2
27:20

وَتَفَقَّدَ ٱلطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِىَ لَآ أَرَى ٱلْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْغَآئِبِينَ

Bengali:অতঃপর সুলাইমান পাখীদের খোঁজ খবর নিল। সে বলল, কী ব্যাপার, হুদহুদকে তো দেখছি না, নাকি সে অনুপস্থিত?
English (Saheeh International):And he took attendance of the birds and said, "Why do I not see the hoopoe - or is he among the absent?
27:21

لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّى بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ

Bengali:আমি তাকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই শাস্তি দেব কঠিন শাস্তি কিংবা তাকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই হত্যা করব অথবা সে অবশ্য অবশ্যই আমাকে তার (অনুপস্থিতির) উপযুক্ত কারণ দর্শাবে।’
English (Saheeh International):I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or slaughter him unless he brings me clear authorization."1
27:22

فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِۦ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍۭ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ

Bengali:অতঃপর হুদহুদ অবিলম্বে এসে বলল- ‘আমি যা অবগত হয়েছি আপনি তা অবগত নন, আমি সাবা থেকে নিশ্চিত খবর নিয়ে আপনার কাছে এসেছি।
English (Saheeh International):But he [i.e., the hoopoe] stayed not long and said, "I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news.
27:23

إِنِّى وَجَدتُّ ٱمْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ

Bengali:আমি দেখলাম এক নারী তাদের উপর রাজত্ব করছে আর তাকে সব কিছুই দেয়া হয়েছে আর তার আছে এক বিরাট সিংহাসন।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, I found [there] a woman ruling them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a great throne.
27:24

وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ

Bengali:এবং আমি তাকে আর তার সম্প্রদায়কে দেখলাম আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সূর্যকে সেজদা করতে। শয়ত্বান তাদের কাজকে তাদের জন্য শোভন করে দিয়েছে এবং তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধা দিয়ে রেখেছে কাজেই তারা সৎপথ পায় না।
English (Saheeh International):I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allāh, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided,
27:25

أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى يُخْرِجُ ٱلْخَبْءَ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ

Bengali:(শয়ত্বান বাধা দিয়ে রেখেছে) যাতে তারা আল্লাহকে সেজদা না করে যিনি আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর লুক্কায়িত বস্তুকে প্রকাশ করেন, যিনি জানেন তোমরা যা গোপন কর আর তোমরা যা প্রকাশ কর।
English (Saheeh International):[And] so they do not prostrate to Allāh, who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare -
27:26

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ۩

Bengali:আল্লাহ, তিনি ছাড়া সত্যিকারের কোন ইলাহ্ নেই, (তিনি) মহান ‘আরশের অধিপতি।’[সাজদাহ]
English (Saheeh International):Allāh - there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Great Throne."
27:27

۞ قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ

Bengali:সুলাইমান বলল- ‘এখন আমি দেখব, তুমি সত্য বলেছ, না তুমি মিথ্যেবাদী।
English (Saheeh International):[Solomon] said, "We will see whether you were truthful or were of the liars.
27:28

ٱذْهَب بِّكِتَـٰبِى هَـٰذَا فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ

Bengali:আমার এই পত্র নিয়ে যাও আর এটা তাদের কাছে অর্পণ কর। অতঃপর তাদের কাছ থেকে সরে পড় তারপর দেখ, তারা কী জবাব দেয়।’
English (Saheeh International):Take this letter of mine and deliver it to them. Then leave them and see what [answer] they will return."
27:29

قَالَتْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ إِنِّىٓ أُلْقِىَ إِلَىَّ كِتَـٰبٌ كَرِيمٌ

Bengali:সেই নারী বলল- ‘ওহে সভাসদগণ! এই যে আমাকে এক সম্মানযোগ্য পত্র দেয়া হয়েছে।
English (Saheeh International):She said, "O eminent ones, indeed, to me has been delivered a noble letter.
27:30

إِنَّهُۥ مِن سُلَيْمَـٰنَ وَإِنَّهُۥ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Bengali:এটা সুলাইমানের পক্ষ হতে আর তা এই : অসীম দাতা, অতীব দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে শুরু,
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it is [i.e., reads]: 'In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
27:31

أَلَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَىَّ وَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ

Bengali:আমার প্রতি উদ্ধত হয়ো না, অনুগত হয়ে আমার কাছে হাজির হও।
English (Saheeh International):Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].'"
27:32

قَالَتْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَفْتُونِى فِىٓ أَمْرِى مَا كُنتُ قَاطِعَةً أَمْرًا حَتَّىٰ تَشْهَدُونِ

Bengali:সে বলল, ওহে সভাসদরা! তোমরা আমার কর্তব্য সম্পর্কে আমাকে সিদ্ধান্ত দাও। তোমাদের উপস্থিতি ব্যতীত আমি কোন ব্যাপারে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করিনি।’
English (Saheeh International):She said, "O eminent ones, advise me in my affair. I would not decide a matter until you witness [for] me."1
27:33

قَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أُو۟لُوا۟ قُوَّةٍ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ وَٱلْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ فَٱنظُرِى مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ

Bengali:তারা বলল- ‘আমরা শক্তির অধিকারী ও কঠোর যোদ্ধা, কিন্তু সিন্ধান্ত গ্রহণের অধিকারী আপনিই, কাজেই চিন্তা করে দেখুন, আপনি কী আদেশ করবেন।’
English (Saheeh International):They said, "We are men of strength and of great military might, but the command is yours, so see what you will command."
27:34

قَالَتْ إِنَّ ٱلْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا۟ قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوٓا۟ أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَآ أَذِلَّةً ۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ

Bengali:সে বলল- ‘রাজারা যখন কোন জনপদে ঢুকে তখন বিপর্যয় ডেকে আনে এবং তথাকার সম্মানিত ব্যক্তিদেরকে অপমানিত করে ছাড়ে আর এরাও তাই করবে।
English (Saheeh International):She said, "Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do.
27:35

وَإِنِّى مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنَاظِرَةٌۢ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

Bengali:আমি তাঁর কাছে উপঢৌকন পাঠাচ্ছি, তারপর দেখি, দূতেরা কী (জবাব) নিয়ে আসে।’
English (Saheeh International):But indeed, I will send to them a gift and see with what [reply] the messengers will return."
27:36

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَآ ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّآ ءَاتَىٰكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ

Bengali:অতঃপর দূতরা যখন সুলাইমানের কাছে আসল, সুলাইমান বলল- ‘তোমরা কি আমাকে সম্পদ দিয়ে সাহায্য করছ, কিন্তু আল্লাহ আমাকে যা দিয়েছেন তা তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন তার চেয়ে উত্তম, বরং তোমরাই তোমাদের উপঢৌকন নিয়ে আনন্দ কর।
English (Saheeh International):So when they came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allāh has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift.
27:37

ٱرْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُم بِجُنُودٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُم بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُم مِّنْهَآ أَذِلَّةً وَهُمْ صَـٰغِرُونَ

Bengali:তাদের কাছে ফিরে যাও, আমি অবশ্য অবশ্যই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে এক সেনাবাহিনী নিয়ে আসব যার মুকাবালা করার শক্তি তাদের নেই, আমি অবশ্য অবশ্যই তাদেরকে অপমানিত করে সেখানে থেকে বের করে দেব আর তারা হবে অপদস্থ।’
English (Saheeh International):Return to them, for we will surely come to them with soldiers that they will be powerless to encounter, and we will surely expel them therefrom in humiliation, and they will be debased."
27:38

قَالَ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَؤُا۟ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِى بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِى مُسْلِمِينَ

Bengali:সুলাইমান বলল- ‘হে সভাসদবর্গ! তারা আমার কাছে আত্মসমর্পণ করে আসার আগে তোমাদের মধ্যে কে তার সিংহাসন আমার নিকট নিয়ে আসবে?’
English (Saheeh International):[Solomon] said, "O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
27:39

قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ ۖ وَإِنِّى عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِىٌّ أَمِينٌ

Bengali:এক শক্তিধর জ্বিন বলল- ‘আপনি আপনার জায়গা থেকে উঠবার আগে আমি তা আপনার কাছে এনে দেব, এ কাজে আমি অবশ্যই ক্ষমতার অধিকারী ও আস্থাভাজন।
English (Saheeh International):A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy."
27:40

قَالَ ٱلَّذِى عِندَهُۥ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِندَهُۥ قَالَ هَـٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّى لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ ءَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ ۖ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّى غَنِىٌّ كَرِيمٌ

Bengali:যার কাছে কিতাবের (তাওরাতের) জ্ঞান ছিল সে বলল- ‘আপনার দৃষ্টি আপনার দিকে ফিরে আসার পূর্বেই আমি তা আপনার কাছে এনে দেব।’ সুলাইমান যখন তা তার সামনে রক্ষিত দেখতে পেল তখন সে বলল- ‘এটা আমার প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ, আমাকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্য- আমি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করি, না অকৃতজ্ঞ হই। যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে সে নিজের কল্যাণেই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে। আর যে অকৃতজ্ঞ হয় (সে জেনে রাখুক), নিশ্চয়ই আমার প্রতিপালক অভাবমুক্ত, মর্যাদায় সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ।’
English (Saheeh International):Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous."
27:41

قَالَ نَكِّرُوا۟ لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ أَتَهْتَدِىٓ أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ

Bengali:সুলাইমান বলল- ‘তার সিংহাসনের আকৃতি বদলে দাও, অতঃপর আমরা দেখি, সে (তার নিজের পৌঁছার পূর্বেই আলৌকিকভাবে তার সিংহাসন সুলায়মানের দরবারে রক্ষিত দেখে সত্য) পথের দিশা পায়, না যারা পথের দিশা পায় না সে তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
English (Saheeh International):He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided."
27:42

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَـٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ ۖ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ ۚ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ

Bengali:যখন সে নারী আসল তখন তাকে বলা হল- ‘এটা কি তোমার সিংহাসন?’ সে বলল, ‘এটা যেন সেটাই, আমাদেরকে এর আগেই (আপনার সম্পর্কে) জ্ঞান দান করা হয়েছে আর আমরা আত্মসমর্পণ করেছি।
English (Saheeh International):So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allāh].
27:43

وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَـٰفِرِينَ

Bengali:আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সে যার পূজা করত তাই তাকে সত্য পথে চলা থেকে বাধা দিয়ে রেখেছিল, সে নারী ছিল কাফির সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
English (Saheeh International):And that which she was worshipping other than Allāh had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people."
27:44

قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدْخُلِى ٱلصَّرْحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ ۗ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

Bengali:তাকে বলা হল- ‘প্রাসাদে প্রবেশ কর।’ যখন সে তা দেখল, সে ওটাকে পানির হ্রদ মনে করল এবং সে তার পায়ের গোছা খুলে ফেলল। সুলাইমান বলল- ‘এটা তো স্বচ্ছ কাঁচমন্ডিত প্রাসাদ। সে নারী বলল- হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমি অবশ্যই নিজের প্রতি যুলম করেছি আর আমি সুলাইমানের সঙ্গে বিশ্বজগতের প্রতিপালক আল্লাহর নিকট আত্মসমর্পণ করছি।’
English (Saheeh International):She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water1 and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allāh, Lord of the worlds."
27:45

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَـٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

Bengali:আমি সামূদ সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট তাদের ভাই সালিহকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম (এই আদেশ দিয়ে যে) তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর। অতঃপর তারা দু’ভাগ হয়ে গিয়ে বিতর্কে জড়িয়ে পড়ল।
English (Saheeh International):And We had certainly sent to Thamūd their brother Ṣāliḥ, [saying], "Worship Allāh," and at once they were two parties conflicting.
27:46

قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

Bengali:সালিহ্ বলল- ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা কল্যাণের পূর্বে দ্রুত অকল্যাণ কামনা করছ কেন? তোমরা কেন আল্লাহর নিকট ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর না যাতে তোমরা রহমতপ্রাপ্ত হও?’
English (Saheeh International):He said, "O my people, why are you impatient for evil before [i.e., instead of] good?1 Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allāh that you may receive mercy?"
27:47

قَالُوا۟ ٱطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ ۚ قَالَ طَـٰٓئِرُكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ

Bengali:তারা বলল- আমরা তোমাকে আর তোমার সঙ্গে যারা আছে তাদেরকে অকল্যাণের কারণ ব’লে মনে করি।’ সে বলল- ‘তোমাদের অকল্যাণ আল্লাহর নিকট, বরং তোমরা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করা হচ্ছে।’
English (Saheeh International):They said, "We consider you a bad omen, you and those with you." He said, "Your omen [i.e., fate] is with Allāh. Rather, you are a people being tested."1
27:48

وَكَانَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ

Bengali:আর সেই শহরে ছিল নয় ব্যক্তি যারা দেশে ফাসাদ সৃষ্টি করত আর তারা সংশোধন করত না।
English (Saheeh International):And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs].
27:49

قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ

Bengali:তারা বলল- ‘তোমরা আল্লাহর নামে শপথ কর যে, তোমরা রাত্রিযোগে তাকে আর তার পরিবারবর্গকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই আক্রমণ করবে, অতঃপর আমরা তার অভিভাবককে অবশ্য অবশ্যই বলব, আমরা তার পরিবারবর্গের হত্যাকান্ড প্রত্যক্ষ করিনি। আমরা অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।’
English (Saheeh International):They said, "Take a mutual oath by Allāh that we will kill him by night, he and his family. Then we will say to his executor,1 'We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.'"
27:50

وَمَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرًا وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

Bengali:তারা এক চক্রান্ত করেছিল আর আমিও এক কৌশল অবলম্বন করেছিলাম, কিন্তু তারা বুঝতে পারেনি।
English (Saheeh International):And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan, while they perceived not.
27:51

فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ أَنَّا دَمَّرْنَـٰهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Bengali:অতঃপর দেখ তাদের চক্রান্তের পরিণতি কেমন হয়েছিল? আমিই তাদেরকে ও তাদের সম্প্রদায়কে, সকলকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলাম।
English (Saheeh International):Then look how was the outcome of their plan - that We destroyed them and their people, all.
27:52

فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةًۢ بِمَا ظَلَمُوٓا۟ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

Bengali:এই তো তাদের ঘরদোর সম্পূর্ণ উজাড়, কারণ তারা বাড়াবাড়ি করেছিল। এতে জ্ঞানী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য অবশ্যই নিদর্শন আছে।
English (Saheeh International):So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they had done. Indeed in that is a sign for people who know.
27:53

وَأَنجَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ

Bengali:আর যারা ঈমান এনেছিল ও (আল্লাহকে) ভয় করত তাদেরকে রক্ষা করেছিলাম।
English (Saheeh International):And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allāh.
27:54

وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ

Bengali:স্মরণ কর লূতের কথা, সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিল- তোমরা দেখে-শুনে কেন অশ্লীল কাজ করছ,
English (Saheeh International):And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Do you commit immorality1 while you are seeing?2
27:55

أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ

Bengali:তোমরা কি কাম আসক্তি মিটানোর জন্য নারীদের বাদ দিয়ে পুরুষদের নিকট গমন কর? তোমরা এমন এক জাতি যারা মূর্খের আচরণ করছ।
English (Saheeh International):Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are a people behaving ignorantly."
27:56

۞ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

Bengali:তখন তার সম্প্রদায়ের এ কথা বলা ছাড়া আর কোন জওয়াব ছিল না যে, তোমাদের জনপদ থেকে লূতের পরিবারবর্গকে বের করে দাও, এরা এমন লোক যারা পবিত্র সাজতে চায়।
English (Saheeh International):But the answer of his people was not except that they said, "Expel the family of Lot from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure."
27:57

فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَـٰهَا مِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ

Bengali:অতঃপর আমি তাকে ও তার পরিবারবর্গকে রক্ষা করলাম, তার স্ত্রী ব্যতীত। আমি তার ভাগ্য ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্তদের মধ্যে নির্ধারণ করেছিলাম।
English (Saheeh International):So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We destined her to be of those who remained behind.
27:58

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

Bengali:আর আমি তাদের উপর বর্ষিয়ে ছিলাম এক ভয়ংকর বৃষ্টি। ভীতি প্রদর্শিতদের উপর এ বৃষ্টি ছিল কতই না মন্দ!
English (Saheeh International):And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned.
27:59

قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ۗ ءَآللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Bengali:বল, যাবতীয় প্রশংসা আল্লাহরই জন্য এবং শান্তি তাঁর মনোনীত বান্দাগণের প্রতি। আল্লাহ শ্রেষ্ঠ, না তা যার শরীক করে তারা?
English (Saheeh International):Say, [O Muḥammad], "Praise be to Allāh, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allāh better or what they associate with Him?"
27:60

أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ حَدَآئِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنۢبِتُوا۟ شَجَرَهَآ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তিনিই (শ্রেষ্ঠ) যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন আসমানসমূহ ও পৃথিবী এবং তোমাদের জন্য আকাশ থেকে বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করেন, অতঃপর তা দ্বারা আমি মনোরম উদ্যানরাজি উদগত করি, তার বৃক্ষাদি উদগত করার ক্ষমতা তোমাদের নেই। আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন ইলাহ আছে কি? বরং তারা হচ্ছে এক ন্যায়-বিচ্যুত সম্প্রদায়।
English (Saheeh International):[More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allāh?1 [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].
27:61

أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَـٰلَهَآ أَنْهَـٰرًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তিনিই (শ্রেষ্ঠ) যিনি এই পৃথিবীকে বাসযোগ্য করেছেন আর তার ফাঁকে ফাঁকে নদীনালা প্রবাহিত করেছেন, তাতে সুদৃঢ় পর্বত সংস্থাপিত করেছেন এবং দু’ দরিয়ার মাঝে পার্থক্যকারী আড়াল সৃষ্টি করেছেন; আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন ইলাহ আছে কি? বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
English (Saheeh International):Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allāh? [No], but most of them do not know.
27:62

أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তিনিই (শ্রেষ্ঠ) যিনি আর্তের আহবানে সাড়া দেন যখন সে তাঁকে ডাকে এবং দুঃখ-কষ্ট দূর করেন আর তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীর উত্তরাধিকারী করেন? আল্লাহর সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? অতি সামান্য উপদেশই তোমরা গ্রহণ কর।
English (Saheeh International):Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?1 Is there a deity with Allāh? Little do you remember.
27:63

أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ وَمَن يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ تَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তিনিই (শ্রেষ্ঠ) যিনি জল স্থলের গভীর অন্ধকারে পথ দেখান এবং যিনি তাঁর (বৃষ্টিরূপী) অনুগ্রহের পূর্বক্ষণে শুভবার্তাবাহী বাতাস প্রেরণ করেন? আল্লাহর সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? তারা যাকে (আল্লাহর) শরীক করে, আল্লাহ তা থেকে অনেক ঊর্ধ্বে।
English (Saheeh International):Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allāh? High is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him.
27:64

أَمَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Bengali:নাকি তিনিই (শ্রেষ্ঠ) যিনি সৃষ্টির সূচনা করেন, অতঃপর তার পুনরাবৃত্তি করেন এবং যিনি তোমাদেরকে আসমান ও যমীন থেকে রিযক দান করেন? আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? বল, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে তোমাদের প্রমাণপঞ্জি পেশ কর।
English (Saheeh International):Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allāh? Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful."
27:65

قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْغَيْبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ

Bengali:বল, আকাশ ও পৃথিবীতে যারা আছে তারা কেউই অদৃশ্য বিষয়ের জ্ঞান রাখে না আল্লাহ ছাড়া, আর তারা জানে না কখন তাদেরকে জীবিত ক’রে উঠানো হবে।
English (Saheeh International):Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allāh, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected."
27:66

بَلِ ٱدَّٰرَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا ۖ بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ

Bengali:বরং আখিরাত সম্পর্কিত তাদের জ্ঞানের সীমা শেষ, বরং এ ব্যাপারে তারা সন্দেহে আচ্ছন্ন বরং এ বিষয়ে তারা অন্ধ।
English (Saheeh International):Rather, their knowledge is arrested concerning the Hereafter. Rather, they are in doubt about it. Rather, they are, concerning it, blind.
27:67

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا وَءَابَآؤُنَآ أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ

Bengali:অবিশ্বাসীরা বলে- আমরা আর আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষরা যখন মাটি হয়ে যাব তারপরও কি আমাদেরকে নিশ্চিতই বের করে উঠানো হবে?
English (Saheeh International):And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]?
27:68

لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَـٰذَا نَحْنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Bengali:এ ওয়া‘দা আমাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছে, আমাদেরকে এবং পূর্বে আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকেও; এ সব পূর্বকালের কাহিনী ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।
English (Saheeh International):We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples."
27:69

قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

Bengali:বল, পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ কর, অতঃপর দেখ অপরাধীদের পরিণাম কেমন হয়েছিল।
English (Saheeh International):Say, [O Muḥammad], "Proceed [i.e., travel] through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals."
27:70

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُن فِى ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ

Bengali:তাদের জন্য দুঃখ কর না, আর তাদের চক্রান্তের কারণে মনে কষ্ট নিও না।
English (Saheeh International):And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire.
27:71

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Bengali:তারা বলে- ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক তাহলে, এ ‘ওয়াদা কখন বাস্তবায়িত হবে?
English (Saheeh International):And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"
27:72

قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

Bengali:বল, তোমরা যা পাওয়ার জন্য তাড়াহুড়া করছ সম্ভবতঃ তার কিছু তোমাদের পিঠের পেছনে এসে গেছে।
English (Saheeh International):Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you [i.e., very near] - some of that for which you are impatient.
27:73

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ

Bengali:তোমার প্রতিপালক নিশ্চয়ই মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহশীল, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না।
English (Saheeh International):And indeed, your Lord is the possessor of bounty for the people, but most of them are not grateful."
27:74

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ

Bengali:তোমার প্রতিপালক অবশ্যই জানেন তাদের অন্তর যা গোপন করে আর যা প্রকাশ করে।
English (Saheeh International):And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare.
27:75

وَمَا مِنْ غَآئِبَةٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ

Bengali:আকাশে আর যমীনে এমন কোন অদৃশ্য বিষয় নেই যা সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবে নেই।
English (Saheeh International):And there is nothing concealed1 within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register.2
27:76

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَكْثَرَ ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

Bengali:নিশ্চয় এ কুরআন সেগুলোর অধিকাংশ বিবৃত করে যে বিষয়ে বানী ইসরাঈল মতভেদ করেছিল।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, this Qur’ān relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree.
27:77

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Bengali:আর তা নিশ্চিতই মু’মিনদের জন্য সঠিক পথের দিশারী ও রহমত।
English (Saheeh International):And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers.
27:78

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Bengali:তোমার প্রতিপালক তাঁর বিধান অনুযায়ী তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করে দেবেন আর তিনি প্রবল পরাক্রান্ত, সর্বজ্ঞানের অধিকারী।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
27:79

فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُبِينِ

Bengali:কাজেই তুমি আল্লাহর উপর নির্ভর কর, তুমি তো সুস্পষ্ট সত্যের উপর আছ।
English (Saheeh International):So rely upon Allāh; indeed, you are upon the clear truth.
27:80

إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ

Bengali:তুমি মৃতদেরকে শুনাতে পারবে না, আর বধিরকেও আহবান শুনাতে পারবে না (বিশেষতঃ) যখন তারা পিঠ ফিরিয়ে চলে যায়।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating.
27:81

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

Bengali:আর তুমি অন্ধকেও তাদের গুমরাহী থেকে ফিরিয়ে আনার জন্য সৎপথ দেখাতে পারবে না। তুমি কেবল তাদেরকেই শুনাতে পারবে যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীতে বিশ্বাস করে, কাজেই তারা আত্মসমর্পণ করে।
English (Saheeh International):And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [i.e., submitting to Allāh].
27:82

۞ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَآبَّةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ

Bengali:তাদেরকে দেয়া প্রতিশ্রুতি যখন বাস্তবে পরিণত হবে, আমি তখন (কিয়ামাত আগমণের নির্দশন হিসেবে) ভূমি থেকে তাদের জন্য একটি জন্তু বের করব যা তাদের সঙ্গে এ কথা বলবে যে, মানুষ আমার নিদর্শনসমূহে বিশ্বাস করত না।
English (Saheeh International):And when the word [i.e., decree] befalls them,1 We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith].
27:83

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

Bengali:যেদিন আমি প্রত্যেকটি সম্প্রদায় হতে একটি দলকে সমবেত করব যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করেছিল, অতঃপর তাদেরকে সারিবদ্ধ করা হবে।
English (Saheeh International):And [warn of] the Day when We will gather from every nation a company of those who deny Our signs, and they will be [driven] in rows
27:84

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُو قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِـَٔايَـٰتِى وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا۟ بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:যখন তারা এসে যাবে তখন আল্লাহ বলবেন- তোমরা কি আমার নিদর্শনকে মিথ্যে বলে প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিলে যদিও তা তোমরা জ্ঞানায়ত্ত করতে পারনি; নাকি তোমরা অন্য কিছু করছিলে?
English (Saheeh International):Until, when they arrive [at the place of Judgement], He will say, "Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?"
27:85

وَوَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

Bengali:তাদেরকে দেয়া প্রতিশ্রুতি বাস্তবে ঘটে যাবে তাদের অন্যায় কার্যকলাপের কারণে আর তারা (তাদের পক্ষে) কোন কথা বলতে পারবে না।
English (Saheeh International):And the decree will befall them1 for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak.
27:86

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

Bengali:তারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না যে, আমি রাত বানিয়েছি যাতে তারা তাতে আরাম করতে পারে আর দিনকে করেছি আলো দানকারী? বিশ্বাসী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য অবশ্যই এতে নিদর্শন আছে।
English (Saheeh International):Do they not see that We made the night that they may rest therein and the day giving sight? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
27:87

وَيَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَفَزِعَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَكُلٌّ أَتَوْهُ دَٰخِرِينَ

Bengali:আর যে দিন শিঙ্গায় ফুঁ দেয়া হবে সেদিন যারা আকাশে আছে আর যারা যমীনে আছে তারা ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত হয়ে পড়বে, তবে আল্লাহ যাদের জন্য ইচ্ছে করবেন তারা বাদে। সবাই তাঁর কাছে আসবে বিনয়ে অবনত হয়ে।
English (Saheeh International):And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allāh wills. And all will come to Him humbled.
27:88

وَتَرَى ٱلْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ ٱلسَّحَابِ ۚ صُنْعَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ

Bengali:তুমি পর্বতগুলোকে দেখ আর মনে কর তা অচল, কিন্তু সেগুলো চলমান হবে যেমন মেঘমালা চলে। এটা আল্লাহর সৃষ্টি নৈপুণ্য, যিনি সব কিছুকে করেছেন যথাযথ। তোমরা যা কিছু কর সে সম্পর্কে তিনি সম্পূর্ণরূপে অবগত।
English (Saheeh International):And you see the mountains, thinking them motionless,1 while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allāh, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Aware of that which you do.
27:89

مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ ءَامِنُونَ

Bengali:যারা সৎকাজ নিয়ে উপস্থিত হবে, তাদের জন্য আছে উৎকৃষ্টতর প্রতিদান, সেদিন তারা ভীতি শঙ্কা থেকে নিরাপদ থাকবে।
English (Saheeh International):Whoever comes [at Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it, and they, from the terror of that Day, will be safe.
27:90

وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَكُبَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:যারা অসৎকর্ম নিয়ে হাজির হবে, তাদেরকে মুখের ভরে আগুনে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে, (আর তাদেরকে বলা হবে) তোমরা যা করতে কেবল তারই প্রতিদান তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হচ্ছে।
English (Saheeh International):And whoever comes with an evil deed1 - their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], "Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?"
27:91

إِنَّمَآ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْبَلْدَةِ ٱلَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُۥ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ

Bengali:আমি নির্দেশিত হয়েছি এই (মক্কা) নগরীর প্রতিপালকের ‘ইবাদাত করার জন্য যিনি তাকে (অর্থাৎ এই নগরীকে) সম্মানিত করেছেন। সকল বস্তু তাঁরই, আর আমি আদিষ্ট হয়েছি আমি যেন (আল্লাহর নিকট) আত্মসমর্পণকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হই।
English (Saheeh International):[Say, O Muḥammad], "I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city,1 who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [i.e., those who submit to Allāh].
27:92

وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ

Bengali:আর আমি যেন কুরআন তিলাওয়াত করি। অতঃপর যে সঠিক পথে চলবে, সে নিজের কল্যাণেই সঠিক পথে চলবে। আর কেউ গুমরাহ্ হলে তুমি বল, আমি তো সতর্ককারীদের একজন।
English (Saheeh International):And to recite the Qur’ān." And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, "I am only [one] of the warners."
27:93

وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:আর বল, যাবতীয় প্রশংসা আল্লাহরই। তিনি শীঘ্রই তোমাদেরকে তাঁর নিদর্শনগুলো দেখাবেন আর তা তোমরা চিনতে পারবে। তোমরা যা কর সে সম্পর্কে তোমার পালনকর্তা অমনোযোগী নন।
English (Saheeh International):And say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allāh. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do."
