Surah Al-Qadr

Meaning: The Power (মহিমান্বিত)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

97:1

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ

Bengali:আমি কুরআনকে কাদরের রাতে নাযিল করেছি,

English (Saheeh International):Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.

97:2

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ

Bengali:তুমি কি জান ক্বাদরের রাত কী?

English (Saheeh International):And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

97:3

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

Bengali:ক্বাদরের রাত হাজার মাসের চেয়েও অধিক উত্তম,

English (Saheeh International):The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

97:4

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

Bengali:এ রাতে ফেরেশতা আর রূহ তাদের রব-এর অনুমতিক্রমে প্রত্যেক কাজে অবতীর্ণ হয়।

English (Saheeh International):The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.1

97:5

سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ

Bengali:(এ রাতে বিরাজ করে) শান্তি আর শান্তি- ফজর উদয় হওয়া পর্যন্ত।

English (Saheeh International):Peace it is1 until the emergence of dawn.
