Surah As-Sajdah

Meaning: The Prostration (সিজদা)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

32:1

الٓمٓ

Bengali:আলিফ-লাম-মীম,
English (Saheeh International):Alif, Lām, Meem.1
32:2

تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

Bengali:এ কিতাব বিশ্বজগতের পালনকর্তার নিকট হতে অবতীর্ণ, এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই।
English (Saheeh International):[This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds.
32:3

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۚ بَلْ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

Bengali:তবে তারা কি বলে যে, সে নিজেই তা রচনা করেছে (এবং আল্লাহর নিকট থেকে আগত কিতাব ব’লে মিথ্যে দাবী করছে, না তা নয়), বরং তা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকট থেকে (আগত) সত্য যাতে তুমি এমন এক সম্প্রদায়কে সতর্ক করতে পার যাদের কাছে তোমার পূর্বে কোন সকর্তকারী আসেনি, সম্ভবতঃ তারা সঠিকপথ প্রাপ্ত হবে।
English (Saheeh International):Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muḥammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided.
32:4

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Bengali:আল্লাহ যিনি আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবী এবং এ দু’এর মাঝে যা কিছু আছে ছয় দিনে সৃষ্টি করেছেন- অতঃপর তিনি ‘আরশে সমুন্নত হন। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের জন্য কোন অভিভাবক নেই, সুপারিশকারীও নেই। তবুও কি তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে না?
English (Saheeh International):It is Allāh who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne.1 You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded?
32:5

يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ

Bengali:তিনি আকাশ হতে পৃথিবী পর্যন্ত কার্য পরিচালনা করেন, অতঃপর সকল বিষয়াদি তাঁরই কাছে একদিন উত্থিত হবে যার পরিমাপ তোমাদের গণনা অনুযায়ী হাজার বছর।
English (Saheeh International):He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.
32:6

ذَٰلِكَ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Bengali:এমনই তিনি, অদৃশ্য ও দৃশ্যমান সম্পর্কে জ্ঞাত, মহাপরাক্রমশালী, পরম দয়ালু।
English (Saheeh International):That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,
32:7

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ مِن طِينٍ

Bengali:যিনি সব কিছুকে উত্তমরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, আর মানুষ সৃষ্টির সূচনা করেছেন মাটি থেকে।
English (Saheeh International):Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.
32:8

ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُۥ مِن سُلَـٰلَةٍ مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ

Bengali:অতঃপর তিনি তার বংশধর সৃষ্টি করেন তুচ্ছ তরল পদার্থের নির্যাস থেকে।
English (Saheeh International):Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained.
32:9

ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

Bengali:অতঃপর তিনি তাকে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ করেছেন আর তার ভিতরে স্বীয় রূহ হতে ফুঁক দিয়েছেন, আর তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন শ্রবণেন্দ্রীয়, দর্শনেন্দ্রিয় ও অন্তঃকরণ; কৃতজ্ঞতা তোমরা সামান্যই প্রকাশ কর।
English (Saheeh International):Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul1 and made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect]; little are you grateful.
32:10

وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍۭ ۚ بَلْ هُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ

Bengali:তারা বলে, কী! আমরা মাটিতে মিশিয়ে গেলেও কি আমাদেরকে আবার নতুন ক’রে সৃষ্টি করা হবে? বরং তারা তাদের প্রতিপালকের সাক্ষাৎকে অস্বীকার করে।
English (Saheeh International):And they say, "When we are lost [i.e., disintegrated] within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers.
32:11

۞ قُلْ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ٱلَّذِى وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ

Bengali:বল, তোমাদের প্রাণ হরণের দায়িত্বে নিয়োজিত ফেরেশতা তোমাদের প্রাণ হরণ করবে, অতঃপর তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের নিকট তোমাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে আনা হবে।
English (Saheeh International):Say, "The angel of death who has been entrusted with you will take you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."
32:12

وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ نَاكِسُوا۟ رُءُوسِهِمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ رَبَّنَآ أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا فَٱرْجِعْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَـٰلِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ

Bengali:তুমি যদি দেখতে যখন অপরাধীরা তাদের প্রতিপালকের সামনে মাথা নীচু করে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকবে (আর বলবে), হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমরা দেখলাম ও শুনলাম; কাজেই আমাদেরকে আবার পাঠিয়ে দিন, আমরা ভাল কাজ করব, আমরা (এখন) দৃঢ় বিশ্বাসী।
English (Saheeh International):If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain."
32:13

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَـَٔاتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَىٰهَا وَلَـٰكِنْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ مِنِّى لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

Bengali:আমি যদি ইচ্ছে করতাম তাহলে প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিকে সৎ পথে পরিচালিত করতাম। কিন্তু আমার (এ) কথা অবশ্যই সত্য প্রতিপন্ন হবেঃ আমি নিশ্চয়ই জাহান্নামকে জ্বিন ও মানুষ মিলিয়ে পূর্ণ করব।
English (Saheeh International):And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word1 from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.
32:14

فَذُوقُوا۟ بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَـٰكُمْ ۖ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:কাজেই (শাস্তির) স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর, কেননা এ দিনের সাক্ষাৎকে তোমরা ভুলে গিয়েছিলে, আমিও তোমাদেরকে ভুলে গেছি। তোমরা চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তি আস্বাদন করতে থাক, তোমরা যা করছিলে তার কারণে।
English (Saheeh International):So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."
32:15

إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهَا خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا۟ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩

Bengali:আমার নিদর্শনাবলীতে কেবল তারাই বিশ্বাস করে যাদেরকে এর দ্বারা উপদেশ দেয়া হলে সিজদায় লুটিয়ে পড়ে আর তাদের প্রতিপালকের প্রশংসা সহকারে তাঁর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে আর তারা অহংকার করে না।[সাজদাহ]
English (Saheeh International):Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allāh] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
32:16

تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

Bengali:তারা তাদের (দেহের) পার্শ্বগুলো বিছানা থেকে আলাদা ক’রে (জাহান্নামের) ভীতি ও (জান্নাতের) আশা নিয়ে তাদের প্রতিপালককে ডাকে, আর আমি তাদেরকে যে রিযক দিয়েছি তাত্থেকে (আল্লাহর পথে) ব্যয় করে।
English (Saheeh International):Their sides part [i.e., they arise] from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.1
32:17

فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أُخْفِىَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:কোন ব্যক্তিই (এখন) জানে না চোখ জুড়ানো কী (জিনিস) তাদের জন্য লুকিয়ে রাখা হয়েছে তাদের কাজের পুরস্কার হিসেবে।
English (Saheeh International):And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e., satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do.
32:18

أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًا ۚ لَّا يَسْتَوُۥنَ

Bengali:তবে কি, মু’মিন ব্যক্তি পাপাচারীর ন্যায় (হতে পারে)? তারা সমান নয়।
English (Saheeh International):Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.
32:19

أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتُ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ نُزُلًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:যারা ঈমান আনে আর সৎ কাজ করে তাদের বাসস্থান হবে জান্নাত, তারা যে কাজ করত তার আপ্যায়ন স্বরূপ।
English (Saheeh International):As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.
32:20

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا۟ فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَآ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Bengali:আর যারা পাপাচার করে তাদের বাসস্থান হবে জাহান্নাম। যখনই তারা তাত্থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে চাইবে, তাদেরকে তাতেই ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হবে, আর তাদেরকে বলা হবে- তোমরা অগ্নির শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর যা তোমরা মিথ্যে ব’লে অস্বীকার করতে।
English (Saheeh International):But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."
32:21

وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

Bengali:গুরুতর শাস্তির আগে আমি তাদেরকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই লঘু শাস্তি আস্বাদন করাবো যাতে তারা (অনুশোচনা নিয়ে) ফিরে আসে।
English (Saheeh International):And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment1 short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will return [i.e., repent].
32:22

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ثُمَّ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهَآ ۚ إِنَّا مِنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ مُنتَقِمُونَ

Bengali:তার চেয়ে বড় যালিম আর কে আছে যাকে তার প্রতিপালকের আয়াতসমূহ দিয়ে উপদেশ দান করা হলে সে তাত্থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়? আমি অপরাধীদেরকে শাস্তি দেব।
English (Saheeh International):And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution.
32:23

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِى مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

Bengali:আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, কাজেই তুমি তার (অর্থাৎ আল কুরআনের) প্রাপ্তিতে সন্দেহে পতিত হয়ো না। আমি ওটাকে বানী ইসরাঈলের জন্য পথপ্রদর্শক করেছিলাম।
English (Saheeh International):And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting.1 And We made it [i.e., the Torah] guidance for the Children of Israel.
32:24

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا۟ ۖ وَكَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ

Bengali:আর আমি তাদের মধ্য হতে নেতা মনোনীত করেছিলাম যারা আমার নির্দেশ মুতাবেক সৎপথপ্রদর্শন করত যতদিন তারা ধৈর্য অবলম্বন করেছিল আর আমার আয়াতসমূহের উপর দৃঢ় বিশ্বাসী ছিল।
English (Saheeh International):And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs.
32:25

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

Bengali:তোমার প্রতিপালক, তিনি ক্বিয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করবেন তারা যে বিষয়ে মতভেদ করত।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
32:26

أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ ۖ أَفَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ

Bengali:এটাও কি তাদেরকে সত্য পথ দেখায় না যে, আমি তাদের পূর্বে কত মানব বংশ ধ্বংস করেছি যাদের বাসভূমির উপর দিয়ে তারা (এখন) চলাফেরা করে? এতে অবশ্যই (আল্লাহর) নিদর্শন আছে, তবুও কি তারা শুনবে না?
English (Saheeh International):Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear?
32:27

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا نَسُوقُ ٱلْمَآءَ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَـٰمُهُمْ وَأَنفُسُهُمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ

Bengali:তারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না যে, আমি উষর ভূমিতে পানি প্রবাহিত ক’রে তা দিয়ে শষ্য উদগত করি যাথেকে তাদের গবাদি পশু ও তারা নিজেরা খাদ্য গ্রহণ করে, তবুও কি তারা লক্ষ্য করবে না?
English (Saheeh International):Have they not seen that We drive water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see?
32:28

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْفَتْحُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Bengali:আর তারা বলেঃ তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তাহলে বল, এ ফয়সালা কখন হবে?
English (Saheeh International):And they say, "When will be this conquest,1 if you should be truthful?"
32:29

قُلْ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ

Bengali:বল, ফয়সালার দিনে (সব কিছু দেখার পর) কাফিরদের ঈমান আনয়ন তাদের কোন উপকার দিবে না, আর তাদেরকে কোন সময়ও দেয়া হবে না।
English (Saheeh International):Say, [O Muḥammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."
32:30

فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَٱنتَظِرْ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ

Bengali:কাজেই তুমি তাদেরকে এড়িয়ে চল আর (আল্লাহর ফয়সালার জন্য) অপেক্ষা কর, তারাও (সেই ফয়সালার জন্য আছে) অপেক্ষমান।
English (Saheeh International):So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting.
