Surah At-Tur

Meaning: The Mount (পাহাড়)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

52:1

وَٱلطُّورِ

Bengali:শপথ তূর (পর্বত) এর,
English (Saheeh International):By the mount
52:2

وَكِتَـٰبٍ مَّسْطُورٍ

Bengali:শপথ কিতাবের যা লিখিত
English (Saheeh International):And [by] a Book inscribed1
52:3

فِى رَقٍّ مَّنشُورٍ

Bengali:খোলা পৃষ্ঠায়,
English (Saheeh International):In parchment spread open
52:4

وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ

Bengali:শপথ বেশি বেশি আবাদকৃত ঘরের,
English (Saheeh International):And [by] the frequented House1
52:5

وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ

Bengali:শপথ সুউচ্চ ছাদের,
English (Saheeh International):And [by] the ceiling [i.e., heaven] raised high
52:6

وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ

Bengali:শপথ তরঙ্গায়িত সমুদ্রের,
English (Saheeh International):And [by] the sea set on fire,1
52:7

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌ

Bengali:তোমার প্রতিপালকের ‘আযাব অবশ্যই সংঘটিত হবে।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
52:8

مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٍ

Bengali:তার প্রতিরোধকারী কেউ নেই।
English (Saheeh International):Of it there is no preventer.
52:9

يَوْمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوْرًا

Bengali:যেদিন আকাশ প্রচন্ডভাবে কাঁপবে,
English (Saheeh International):On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion
52:10

وَتَسِيرُ ٱلْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا

Bengali:আর পর্বত হবে দ্রুত চলমান,
English (Saheeh International):And the mountains will pass on, departing1 -
52:11

فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Bengali:ধ্বংস সেদিন সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের জন্য।
English (Saheeh International):Then woe, that Day, to the deniers,
52:12

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ

Bengali:যারা নিরর্থক কথার খেলায় মগ্ন আছে।
English (Saheeh International):Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves.
52:13

يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا

Bengali:যেদিন তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আগুনের দিকে তাড়িয়ে নেয়া হবে ধাক্কাতে ধাক্কাতে,
English (Saheeh International):The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say],
52:14

هَـٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

Bengali:(বলা হবে) এটা হল জাহান্নামের সেই আগুন তোমরা যাকে মিথ্যে জানতে।
English (Saheeh International):"This is the Fire which you used to deny.
52:15

أَفَسِحْرٌ هَـٰذَآ أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ

Bengali:এটা কি যাদু, নাকি তোমরা দেখতে পাচ্ছ না?
English (Saheeh International):Then is this magic, or do you not see?
52:16

ٱصْلَوْهَا فَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:এখন এর ভিতর জ্বলতে থাক, অতঃপর ধৈর্য ধর কিংবা ধৈর্য না ধর, তোমাদের জন্য দুই-ই সমান। তোমাদেরকে সেই প্রতিফলই দেয়া হবে যা তোমরা ‘আমাল করতে।
English (Saheeh International):[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."
52:17

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَنَعِيمٍ

Bengali:মুত্তাক্বীরা থাকবে জান্নাতে আর নি‘মাত সম্ভারের মাঝে,
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure,
52:18

فَـٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

Bengali:তারা ভোগ করবে তাদের প্রতিপালক যা তাদেরকে দিবেন, আর তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের ‘আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করবেন।
English (Saheeh International):Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire.
52:19

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Bengali:(তাদেরকে বলা হবে) খাও আর পান কর খুব মজা করে- তোমরা যে ‘আমাল করতে তার প্রতিফল হিসেবে।
English (Saheeh International):[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
52:20

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ

Bengali:তারা সারিবদ্ধভাবে সাজানো আসনে হেলান দিয়ে বসবে, আর আমি তাদের বিয়ে দিয়ে দেব সুন্দর বড় বড় উজ্জ্বল চক্ষু বিশিষ্টা কুমারীদের সঙ্গে।
English (Saheeh International):They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
52:21

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَـٰنٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَآ أَلَتْنَـٰهُم مِّنْ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ ۚ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ

Bengali:যারা ঈমান আনে আর তাদের সন্তান সন্ততিরা ঈমানের সাথে পিতামাতাকে অনুসরণ করে, আমি তাদের সাথে তাদের সন্তান সন্ততিকে মিলিত করব। তাদের ‘আমালের কোন কিছু থেকেই আমি তাদেরকে বঞ্চিত করব না। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিই নিজ কৃতকর্মের জন্য দায়বদ্ধ।
English (Saheeh International):And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds.1 Every person, for what he earned, is retained.2
52:22

وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰهُم بِفَـٰكِهَةٍ وَلَحْمٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

Bengali:আমি তাদেরকে দিব ফলমূল আর গোশত যা তারা পছন্দ করবে।
English (Saheeh International):And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire.
52:23

يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَّا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ

Bengali:তারা সেখানে পরস্পরের মধ্যে বিনিময় করবে পানপাত্র, থাকবে না সেখানে কোন বেহুদা বকবকানি, থাকবে না কোন পাপের কাজ।
English (Saheeh International):They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin.
52:24

۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌ لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَّكْنُونٌ

Bengali:তাদের চতুর্দিকে ঘুর ঘুর ক’রে তাদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত থাকবে কিশোরেরা (যারা এতই সুন্দর) যেন সযত্নে লুকিয়ে রাখা মণিমুক্তা।
English (Saheeh International):There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.
52:25

وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

Bengali:তারা পরস্পরের নিকট এগিয়ে গিয়ে একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞেস করবে,
English (Saheeh International):And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
52:26

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِىٓ أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ

Bengali:তারা বলবে, ‘পূর্বে আমরা আমাদের পরিবারে (দুনিয়াবী নানা কারণে ও আখিরাতের ‘আযাবের আশংকায়) ভয় ভীতির মধ্যে ছিলাম।
English (Saheeh International):They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allāh].
52:27

فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ

Bengali:অবশেষে আল্লাহ আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন আর আমাদেরকে ঝলসে দেয়া বাতাসের ‘আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করেছেন।
English (Saheeh International):So Allāh conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire.
52:28

إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Bengali:পূর্বে আমরা তাঁর কাছেই দু‘আ করতাম, তিনি অতি অনুগ্রহকারী, পরম দয়াবান।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, we used to supplicate1 Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful."
52:29

فَذَكِّرْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ

Bengali:কাজেই তুমি উপদেশ দিতে থাক, তোমার প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহে তুমি গণকও নও, আর পাগলও নও।
English (Saheeh International):So remind, [O Muḥammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman.
52:30

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيْبَ ٱلْمَنُونِ

Bengali:তারা কি বলে সে একজন কবি, যার জন্য আমরা কালচক্রের (বিপদাপদের) অপেক্ষা করছি।
English (Saheeh International):Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time"?1
52:31

قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا۟ فَإِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ

Bengali:ওদেরকে বল- তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর, আমিও তোমাদের সঙ্গে অপেক্ষা করছি। (অতঃপর উভয় পক্ষই দেখতে পাবে কার কী পরিণতি হয়)।
English (Saheeh International):Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters."
52:32

أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَـٰمُهُم بِهَـٰذَآ ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ

Bengali:তাদের বুদ্ধি বিবেক কি তাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দেয়, নাকি তারা মূলতঃই এক সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী জাতি?
English (Saheeh International):Or do their minds1 command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people?
52:33

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥ ۚ بَل لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Bengali:তারা কি বলে- ‘সে নিজেই (কুরআন) রচনা করে নিয়েছে? আসলে তারা ঈমানই আনেনি।
English (Saheeh International):Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe.
52:34

فَلْيَأْتُوا۟ بِحَدِيثٍ مِّثْلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُوا۟ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Bengali:তারা সত্যবাদী হলে এ রকম একটা কালাম তারা নিয়ে আসুক না কেন।
English (Saheeh International):Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful.
52:35

أَمْ خُلِقُوا۟ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَىْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ

Bengali:তারা কি সৃষ্টি হয়েছে, নাকি তারা নিজেরাই সৃষ্টিকর্তা?
English (Saheeh International):Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?
52:36

أَمْ خَلَقُوا۟ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তারা আসমান ও যমীন সৃষ্টি করেছে? আসলে তারা নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাসী নয়।
English (Saheeh International):Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain.
52:37

أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তোমার প্রতিপালকের ধনভান্ডারগুলো তাদের হাতে, না তারা এর নিয়ন্ত্রক?
English (Saheeh International):Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]?
52:38

أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُم بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ

Bengali:নাকি তাদের কাছে, সিঁড়ি আছে যাতে তারা (আকাশে উঠে যায় আর গোপন কথা) শুনে থাকে? থাকলে তাদের (সেই) শ্রোতা স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ হাজির করুক।
English (Saheeh International):Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority [i.e., proof].
52:39

أَمْ لَهُ ٱلْبَنَـٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ

Bengali:নাকি আল্লাহর জন্য কন্যা সন্তান, আর তোমাদের জন্য পুত্র সন্তান?
English (Saheeh International):Or has He daughters while you have sons?
52:40

أَمْ تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍ مُّثْقَلُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তুমি তাদের কাছে পারিশ্রমিক চাচ্ছ, যার ফলে তারা ঋণে ভারাক্রান্ত হয়ে পড়ছে?
English (Saheeh International):Or do you, [O Muḥammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down?
52:41

أَمْ عِندَهُمُ ٱلْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তাদের কাছে অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞান আছে, আর তারা তা লিখছে?
English (Saheeh International):Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down?
52:42

أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ

Bengali:নাকি তারা (তোমার বিরুদ্ধে) চক্রান্ত করতে চায়? তাহলে কিন্তু কাফিররাই চক্রান্তের ফাঁদে আটকা পড়বে।
English (Saheeh International):Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan.
52:43

أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Bengali:নাকি আল্লাহ ছাড়া তাদের জন্য ইলাহ্ আছে? তারা যাকে শরীক গণ্য করে আল্লাহ তা থেকে পবিত্র।
English (Saheeh International):Or have they a deity other than Allāh? Exalted is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him.
52:44

وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كِسْفًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطًا يَقُولُوا۟ سَحَابٌ مَّرْكُومٌ

Bengali:আকাশের কোন খন্ড ভেঙ্গে পড়তে দেখলে তারা বলত- ‘এটা তো পুঞ্জীভূত মেঘ। (তাদেরকে আল্লাহর যতই বিস্ময়কর নিদর্শন দেখানো হোক না কেন, তারা ঈমান আনবে না।)
English (Saheeh International):And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling,1 they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up."
52:45

فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَـٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يُصْعَقُونَ

Bengali:কাজেই তাদেরকে উপেক্ষা কর যতক্ষণ না তারা সাক্ষাৎ করে তাদের সেদিনের যেদিন তারা হবে বজ্রাহত।
English (Saheeh International):So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible -
52:46

يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

Bengali:সেদিন তাদের ষড়যন্ত্র তাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না, আর তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্তও হবে না।
English (Saheeh International):The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped.
52:47

وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ عَذَابًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Bengali:যালিমদের জন্য এছাড়া আরো ‘আযাব রয়েছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
English (Saheeh International):And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment1 before that, but most of them do not know.
52:48

وَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ

Bengali:তুমি ধৈর্য ধরে তোমার প্রতিপালকের হুকুমের অপেক্ষায় থাক, কারণ তুমি আমার চোখের সামনেই আছ। আর তুমি তোমার প্রতিপালকের প্রশংসা ঘোষণা কর যখন তুমি উঠ (মাজলিস শেষে, অথবা বিছানা ছেড়ে কিংবা নামাযের জন্য)।
English (Saheeh International):And be patient, [O Muḥammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes [i.e., sight]. And exalt [Allāh] with praise of your Lord when you arise
52:49

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَـٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ

Bengali:আর রাত্রিকালে তাঁর প্রশংসা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা কর আর (রাতের শেষভাগে যখন) তারকারাজি অস্তমিত হয়ে যায়।
English (Saheeh International):And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars.
