التكوير
Surah At-Takwir
Meaning: The Overthrowing (অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
81:1
إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
Bengali:যখন সূর্যকে গুটিয়ে নেয়া হবে
English (Saheeh International):When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]
81:2
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ
Bengali:আর তারকাগুলো যখন তাদের উজ্জ্বলতা হারিয়ে খসে পড়বে।
English (Saheeh International):And when the stars fall, dispersing,
81:3
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
Bengali:পর্বতগুলোকে যখন চলমান করা হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when the mountains are removed
81:4
وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
Bengali:যখন দশ মাসের গর্ভবতী উটনিগুলোকে অযত্নে পরিত্যাগ করা হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when full-term she-camels1 are neglected
81:5
وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
Bengali:যখন বনের জন্তু জানোয়ারকে (বন থেকে গুটিয়ে এনে লোকালয়ে) একত্রিত করা হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when the wild beasts are gathered
81:6
وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
Bengali:যখন সমুদ্রগুলোকে প্রজ্জ্বলিত করে উত্তাল করা হবে।
English (Saheeh International):And when the seas are filled with flame1
81:7
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ
Bengali:যখন দেহের সঙ্গে আত্মাগুলোকে আবার জুড়ে দেয়া হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when the souls are paired1
81:8
وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ
Bengali:যখন জীবন্ত পুঁতে-ফেলা কন্যা-শিশুকে জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked
81:9
بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ قُتِلَتْ
Bengali:কোন্ অপরাধে তাকে হত্যা করা হয়েছে?
English (Saheeh International):For what sin she was killed
81:10
وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ
Bengali:যখন ‘আমালনামাগুলো খুলে ধরা হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when the pages1 are spread [i.e., made public]
81:11
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ
Bengali:যখন আসমানের পর্দা সরিয়ে ফেলা হবে।
English (Saheeh International):And when the sky is stripped away
81:12
وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
Bengali:যখন জাহান্নামকে উসকে দেয়া হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when Hellfire is set ablaze
81:13
وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
Bengali:আর জান্নাতকে নিকটে আনা হবে,
English (Saheeh International):And when Paradise is brought near,
81:14
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ
Bengali:তখন প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি জানতে পারবে সে কী (সঙ্গে) নিয়ে এসেছে।
English (Saheeh International):A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].1
81:15
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ
Bengali:আমি শপথ করছি (গ্রহের) যা পেছনে সরে যায়,
English (Saheeh International):So I swear by the retreating stars -
81:16
ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ
Bengali:চলে ও লুকিয়ে যায়,
English (Saheeh International):Those that run [their courses] and disappear [i.e., set]
81:17
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ
Bengali:শপথ রাতের যখন তা বিদায় নেয়
English (Saheeh International):And by the night as it closes in1
81:18
وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
Bengali:আর ঊষার যখন তা নিঃশ্বাস ফেলে অন্ধকারকে বের করে দেয়,
English (Saheeh International):And by the dawn when it breathes [i.e., stirs]
81:19
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ
Bengali:এ কুরআন নিশ্চয়ই সম্মানিত রসূলের (অর্থাৎ জিবরাঈলের) আনীত বাণী।
English (Saheeh International):[That] indeed, it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger [i.e., Gabriel]
81:20
ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ
Bengali:যে শক্তিশালী, ‘আরশের মালিক (আল্লাহ)’র নিকট মর্যাদাশীল।
English (Saheeh International):[Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position],
81:21
مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ
Bengali:সেখানে মান্য ও বিশ্বস্ত।
English (Saheeh International):Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy.
81:22
وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍ
Bengali:(ওহে মাক্কাবাসী!) তোমাদের সঙ্গী (মুহাম্মাদ) পাগল নয়।
English (Saheeh International):And your companion [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) ] is not [at all] mad.1
81:23
وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
Bengali:সে সেই বাণী বাহককে সুস্পষ্ট দিগন্তে দেখেছে,
English (Saheeh International):And he has already seen him [i.e., Gabriel] in the clear horizon.1
81:24
وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ
Bengali:সে গায়বের (জ্ঞান মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছে দেয়ার) ব্যাপারে কৃপণতা করে না।
English (Saheeh International):And he [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen.1
81:25
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَـٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ
Bengali:আর তা কোন অভিশপ্ত শয়ত্বানের বাণী নয়।
English (Saheeh International):And it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens].
81:26
فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ
Bengali:কাজেই তোমরা (সত্যকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করে) কোথায় চলেছ?
English (Saheeh International):So where are you going?1
81:27
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
Bengali:এটা তো কেবল বিশ্ববাসীদের জন্য উপদেশ।
English (Saheeh International):It is not except a reminder to the worlds
81:28
لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ
Bengali:তার জন্য- যে তোমাদের মধ্যে সরল সঠিক পথে চলতে চায়।
English (Saheeh International):For whoever wills among you to take a right course.
81:29
وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
Bengali:তোমরা ইচ্ছে কর না যদি বিশ্বজগতের প্রতিপালক আল্লাহ ইচ্ছে না করেন।
English (Saheeh International):And you do not will except that Allāh wills - Lord of the worlds.
