Surah Al-A'la
Meaning: The Most High (সর্বোন্নত)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
87:1
سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى
Bengali:তোমার মহান প্রতিপালকের নামের পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা কর।
English (Saheeh International):Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,
87:2
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
Bengali:যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন অতঃপর করেছেন (দেহের প্রতিটি অঙ্গকে) সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ।
English (Saheeh International):Who created and proportioned
87:3
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
Bengali:যিনি সকল বস্তুকে পরিমাণ মত সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর (জীবনে চলার) পথনির্দেশ করেছেন।
English (Saheeh International):And who destined and [then] guided
87:4
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ
Bengali:যিনি তৃণ ইত্যাদি বের করেছেন।
English (Saheeh International):And who brings out the pasture
87:5
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ
Bengali:অতঃপর তাকে কাল আবর্জনায় পরিণত করেছেন।
English (Saheeh International):And [then] makes it black stubble.
87:6
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
Bengali:আমি তোমাকে পড়িয়ে দেব, যার ফলে তুমি ভুলে যাবে না।
English (Saheeh International):We will make you recite, [O Muḥammad], and you will not forget,
87:7
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ
Bengali:তবে ওটা বাদে যেটা আল্লাহ (রহিত করার) ইচ্ছে করবেন। তিনি জানেন যা প্রকাশ্য আর যা গোপন।
English (Saheeh International):Except what Allāh should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
87:8
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
Bengali:আমি তোমার জন্য সহজপথ (অনুসরণ করা) আরো সহজ করে দেব।
English (Saheeh International):And We will ease you toward ease.1
87:9
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
Bengali:কাজেই তুমি উপদেশ দাও যদি উপদেশ উপকার দেয়।
English (Saheeh International):So remind, if the reminder should benefit;1
87:10
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ
Bengali:যে ভয় করে সে উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে।
English (Saheeh International):He who fears [Allāh] will be reminded.
87:11
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى
Bengali:আর তা উপেক্ষা করবে যে চরম হতভাগা।
English (Saheeh International):But the wretched one will avoid it
87:12
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
Bengali:যে ভয়াবহ আগুনে প্রবেশ করবে।
English (Saheeh International):[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
87:13
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ
Bengali:অতঃপর সেখানে সে না (মরার মত) মরবে, আর না (বাঁচার মত) বাঁচবে।
English (Saheeh International):Neither dying therein nor living.
87:14
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
Bengali:সাফল্য লাভ করবে সে যে নিজেকে পরিশুদ্ধ করে,
English (Saheeh International):He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
87:15
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
Bengali:আর তার প্রতিপালকের নাম স্মরণ করে ও নামায কায়েম করে।
English (Saheeh International):And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
87:16
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا
Bengali:কিন্তু তোমরা তো দুনিয়ার জীবনকেই প্রাধান্য দাও,
English (Saheeh International):But you prefer the worldly life,
87:17
وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
Bengali:অথচ আখিরাতই অধিক উৎকৃষ্ট ও স্থায়ী।
English (Saheeh International):While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
87:18
إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
Bengali:আগের কিতাবগুলোতে এ কথা (লিপিবদ্ধ) আছে,
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,
87:19
صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
Bengali:ইবরাহীম ও মূসার কিতাবে।
English (Saheeh International):The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
