Surah Fatir

Meaning: Originator (আদি স্রষ্টা)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

35:1

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُو۟لِىٓ أَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنَىٰ وَثُلَـٰثَ وَرُبَـٰعَ ۚ يَزِيدُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Bengali:যাবতীয় প্রশংসা আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টিকর্তা আল্লাহর জন্য। তিনি দূত মনোনীত করেন ফেরেশতামন্ডলীকে, যারা দুই দুই বা তিন তিন বা চার চার ডানা বিশিষ্ট। তিনি সৃষ্টিতে যা ইচ্ছে বৃদ্ধি করেন। আল্লাহ সকল বিষয়ের উপর সর্বশক্তিমান।
English (Saheeh International):[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.
35:2

مَّا يَفْتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۖ وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

Bengali:আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্য তাঁর অনুগ্রহ থেকে যা খুলে দেন তা নিবারণ করার কেউ নেই। আর তিনি যা বারিত করেন অতঃপর কেউ তা প্রেরণ করতে পারে না। তিনি মহাপরাক্রমশালী, মহাপ্রজ্ঞাময়।
English (Saheeh International):Whatever Allāh grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
35:3

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ هَلْ مِنْ خَـٰلِقٍ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ

Bengali:হে মানুষ! তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহের কথা স্মরণ কর। তিনি ছাড়া কোন সৃষ্টিকর্তা আছে কি যে তোমাদেরকে আকাশ ও যমীন থেকে রিযক দান করে? তিনি ছাড়া সত্যিকারের কোন ইলাহ নেই, তাহলে কীভাবে তোমরা বিপথগামী হচ্ছ?
English (Saheeh International):O mankind, remember the favor of Allāh upon you. Is there any creator other than Allāh who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?
35:4

وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ

Bengali:তারা যদি তোমাকে মিথ্যে বলে অস্বীকার করে, তাহলে (তাদের এ আচরণ তো কোন নতুন বিষয় নয়) তোমার পূর্বেও রসূলদেরকে মিথ্যে বলে অস্বীকার করা হয়েছে। (যে যা-ই কিছু করুক না কেন) সমস্ত কার্যকলাপ (হিসাব নিকাশের জন্য) আল্লাহর কাছে ফিরে যাবে।
English (Saheeh International):And if they deny you, [O Muḥammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allāh are returned [all] matters.
35:5

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ

Bengali:হে মানুষ! আল্লাহর ওয়া‘দা সত্য, কাজেই পার্থিব জীবন কিছুতেই যেন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারিত না করে; আর সেই প্রধান প্রতারক (শয়ত্বান) যেন কিছুতেই তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে প্রতারিত না করে।
English (Saheeh International):O mankind, indeed the promise of Allāh is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allāh by the Deceiver [i.e., Satan].
35:6

إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا۟ حِزْبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُوا۟ مِنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

Bengali:শয়ত্বান তোমাদের শত্রু, কাজেই তাকে শত্রু হিসেবে গ্রহণ কর। সে কেবল তার দলবলকে ডাকে, যাতে তারা জ্বলন্ত অগ্নির সঙ্গী হয়।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.
35:7

ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ

Bengali:যারা কুফুরী করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে কঠিন শাস্তি। আর যারা ঈমান আনে আর সৎকাজ করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও মহা প্রতিফল।
English (Saheeh International):Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward.
35:8

أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنًا ۖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

Bengali:যাকে তার মন্দ কর্ম শোভনীয় ক’রে দেখানো হয়, অতঃপর সে সেটাকে উত্তম মনে করে (সে কি তার সমান, যে সৎ পথে পরিচালিত?) আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছে বিপথগামী করেন, আর যাকে ইচ্ছে সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করেন। কাজেই তাদের জন্য আক্ষেপ ক’রে, তুমি তোমার জীবনকে ধ্বংস হতে দিও না। তারা যা করে আল্লাহ তা খুব ভালভাবেই জানেন।
English (Saheeh International):Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allāh sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing of what they do.
35:9

وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلنُّشُورُ

Bengali:আল্লাহ, যিনি বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন, অতঃপর তা মেঘ সঞ্চার করে, অতঃপর আমি তা নির্জীব ভূখন্ডের দিকে পরিচালিত করি। অতঃপর আমি তা দিয়ে মৃত্তিকাকে তার মৃত্যুর পর আবার সঞ্জীবিত করি। এভাবেই (ঘটবে) পুনরুত্থান।
English (Saheeh International):And it is Allāh who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection.
35:10

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ ٱلْكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلْعَمَلُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُ يَرْفَعُهُۥ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَمَكْرُ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ

Bengali:কেউ সম্মান-সুখ্যাতি চাইলে (আল্লাহকে উপেক্ষা করে তা লাভ করা যাবে না), সে জেনে নিক যাবতীয় সম্মান-সুখ্যাতির অধিকারী হলেন আল্লাহ। তাঁরই দিকে উত্থিত হয় পবিত্র কথাগুলো আর সৎকাজ সেগুলোকে উচ্চে তুলে ধরে। যারা মন্দ কাজের চক্রান্ত করে তাদের জন্য আছে কঠিন শাস্তি। তাদের চক্রান্ত নিষ্ফল হবে।
English (Saheeh International):Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allāh belongs all honor.1 To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it.2 But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.
35:11

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًا ۚ وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِن مُّعَمَّرٍ وَلَا يُنقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِۦٓ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ

Bengali:আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে মাটি থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর শুক্র-বিন্দু হতে, অতঃপর তিনি তোমাদেরকে করেছেন (স্বামী-স্ত্রীর) জোড়া। তাঁর অবগতি ব্যতীত কোন নারী গর্ভ ধারণ করে না বা (তার বোঝা) হালকা করে না। কোন দীর্ঘায়ুর আয়ু দীর্ঘ করা হয় না, আর তার আয়ু কমানো হয় না কিতাবের লিখন ছাড়া। এটা (অর্থাৎ এ সবের হিসাব রাখা ও তত্ত্বাবধান করা) আল্লাহর জন্য সহজ।
English (Saheeh International):And Allāh created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allāh is easy.
35:12

وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْبَحْرَانِ هَـٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَآئِغٌ شَرَابُهُۥ وَهَـٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ ۖ وَمِن كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا ۖ وَتَرَى ٱلْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

Bengali:দু’টি দরিয়াও এক রকম নয়। একটি সুমিষ্ট, সুস্বাদু, সুপেয়; অন্যটি লবণাক্ত, বিস্বাদ। তথাপি তোমরা সকল (প্রকার পানি) থেকে তাজা গোশত আহার কর আর বের কর অলংকার- পরিধান করার জন্যে। তোমরা দেখতে পাও নৌযানগুলো ঢেউয়ের বুক চিরে চলাচল করে যাতে তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহ খোঁজ করতে পার, আর যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
English (Saheeh International):And not alike are the two seas [i.e., bodies of water]. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
35:13

يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِن قِطْمِيرٍ

Bengali:তিনি রাতকে দিনে ঢুকিয়ে দেন, আর দিনকে রাতে ঢুকিয়ে দেন। তিনি সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে তাঁর নিয়ন্ত্রণের অধীনে (কাজে নিয়োজিত) রেখেছেন। প্রত্যেকেই নির্ধারিত সময় অনুসারে গতিশীল আছে। এই হলেন আল্লাহ, তোমাদের প্রতিপালক। রাজত্ব তাঁরই। তোমরা তাঁর পরিবর্তে যাদেরকে ডাক তারা তো খেজুরের অাঁটি সংলগ্ন (অত্যন্ত পাতলা ও দুর্বল) আবরণেরও মালিক নয়।
English (Saheeh International):He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allāh, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed.
35:14

إِن تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا۟ دُعَآءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا۟ مَا ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ ۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ

Bengali:তোমরা তাদেরকে ডাকলে তারা তোমাদের ডাক শুনবে না আর যদি শুনেও, তবুও তোমাদের (ডাকে) সাড়া দিতে পারবে না। আর তোমরা যে তাদেরকে (আল্লাহর) অংশীদার গণ্য করতে, ক্বিয়ামতের দিন তা তারা অস্বীকার করবে। কেউই তোমাদেরকে সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহর মত খবর জানাতে পারবে না।
English (Saheeh International):If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association.1 And none can inform you like [one] Aware [of all matters].
35:15

۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ

Bengali:হে মানুষ! তোমরাই আল্লাহর মুখাপেক্ষী, আর আল্লাহ তিনি তো অভাবহীন, প্রশংসিত।
English (Saheeh International):O mankind, you are those in need of Allāh, while Allāh is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
35:16

إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ

Bengali:তিনি ইচ্ছে করলে তোমাদেরকে বিলুপ্ত করতে পারেন, আর এক নতুন সৃষ্টি আনতে পারেন।
English (Saheeh International):If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation.
35:17

وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ

Bengali:এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে কঠিন নয়।
English (Saheeh International):And that is for Allāh not difficult.
35:18

وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ وَإِن تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمْلِهَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰٓ ۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Bengali:কোন বহনকারী অন্যের (পাপের) বোঝা বইবে না। কেউ যদি তার গুরুভার বয়ে দেয়ার জন্য অন্যকে ডাকে তবে তার কিছুই বয়ে দেয়া হবে না- নিকটাত্মীয় হলেও। তুমি কেবল তাদেরকেই সতর্ক করতে পার, যারা না দেখেই তাদের প্রতিপালককে ভয় করে আর নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করে। যে কেউ নিজেকে পরিশুদ্ধ করে সে তো পরিশুদ্ধ করে নিজের কল্যাণেই। আল্লাহর দিকেই (সকলের) প্রত্যাবর্তন।
English (Saheeh International):And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allāh is the [final] destination.
35:19

وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ

Bengali:অন্ধ আর চোখওয়ালা সমান নয়।
English (Saheeh International):Not equal are the blind and the seeing,
35:20

وَلَا ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتُ وَلَا ٱلنُّورُ

Bengali:আর অন্ধকার ও আলোও (সমান নয়)।
English (Saheeh International):Nor are the darknesses and the light,
35:21

وَلَا ٱلظِّلُّ وَلَا ٱلْحَرُورُ

Bengali:আর ছায়া ও রোদও (সমান নয়)।
English (Saheeh International):Nor are the shade and the heat,1
35:22

وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَّن فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

Bengali:আর জীবিত ও মৃতও সমান নয়। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছে করেন শোনান; যারা ক্ববরে আছে তুমি তাদেরকে শোনাতে পার না।
English (Saheeh International):And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allāh causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.1
35:23

إِنْ أَنتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ

Bengali:তুমি তো কেবল একজন সতর্ককারী।
English (Saheeh International):You, [O Muḥammad], are not but a warner.
35:24

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۚ وَإِن مِّنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٌ

Bengali:আমি তোমাকে সত্যসহ পাঠিয়েছি সুসংবাদদাতা ও সতর্ককারীরূপে। এমন কোন সম্প্রদায় নেই যাতে সতর্ককারী আসেনি।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner.
35:25

وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ وَبِٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُنِيرِ

Bengali:তারা যদি তোমাকে মিথ্যে ব’লে অস্বীকার করে, (তাহলে জেনে রেখ, এটা কোন নতুন ব্যাপার নয়, কারণ) তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও (নবী-রসূলদেরকে) মিথ্যে ব’লে অস্বীকার করেছিল। তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন, লিখিত দলীল ও আলোকপ্রদ কিতাব নিয়ে এসেছিল।
English (Saheeh International):And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.
35:26

ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

Bengali:যারা কুফরী করেছিল, অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছিলাম। কী (ভয়ংকর) ছিল আমার শাস্তি!
English (Saheeh International):Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach.
35:27

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ ثَمَرَٰتٍ مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهَا ۚ وَمِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌۢ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌ

Bengali:তুমি কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহ আকাশ হতে পানি বর্ষণ করেন, অতঃপর আমি তা দিয়ে রং বেরংয়ের ফলমূল উদগত করি। পাহাড়ের মধ্যে আছে বিভিন্ন বর্ণের গিরিপথ- সাদা, লাল আর নিকষ কালো।
English (Saheeh International):Do you not see that Allāh sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black.
35:28

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ كَذَٰلِكَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْعُلَمَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ

Bengali:তেমনিভাবে মানুষ, জীব-জন্তু আর গৃহপালিত পশুদের মধ্যেও রয়েছে তাদের বিভিন্ন রং। আল্লাহর বান্দাহদের মধ্যে তারাই তাঁকে ভয় করে যারা জ্ঞানী। আল্লাহ মহা ক্ষমতাশালী, পরম দয়ালু।
English (Saheeh International):And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allāh, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.
35:29

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَـٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَـٰرَةً لَّن تَبُورَ

Bengali:যারা আল্লাহর কিতাব তিলাওয়াত করে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করে আর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যে রিযক দিয়েছেন তাথেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করে, তারা এমন এক ব্যবসায়ের আশা করে যাতে কক্ষনো লোকসান হবে না।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allāh and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a transaction [i.e., profit] that will never perish -
35:30

لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ

Bengali:কারণ, তিনি তাদেরকে তাদের প্রতিফল পূর্ণমাত্রায় দান করবেন এবং নিজ অনুগ্রহে আরো বেশি দিবেন। তিনি অতি ক্ষমাশীল, (ভাল কাজের) বড়ই মর্যাদাদানকারী।
English (Saheeh International):That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.1
35:31

وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ لَخَبِيرٌۢ بَصِيرٌ

Bengali:আমি যে কিতাবটি হতে তোমার প্রতি ওয়াহী করেছি তা সত্য, পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবের সত্যায়নকারী। আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাহদের সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই সব খবর রাখেন এবং সব দেখেন।
English (Saheeh International):And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed Allāh, of His servants, is Aware and Seeing.
35:32

ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌۢ بِٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

Bengali:অতঃপর সেই কিতাবটির উত্তরাধিকারী করেছি আমি আমার বান্দাহদের মধ্যে হতে যাদেরকে বেছে নিয়েছি। অতঃপর তাদের কতক নিজেদের প্রতি অত্যাচার করেছে, আর কতক মধ্যপন্থী। তাদের কতক আল্লাহর নির্দেশে সৎ কাজে অগ্রণী। এটাই (মানুষের প্রতি আল্লাহর) খুবই বড় দয়া।
English (Saheeh International):Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants;1 and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allāh. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty.
35:33

جَنَّـٰتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ

Bengali:স্থায়ী জান্নাতে তারা প্রবেশ করবে। যেখানে তাদেরকে স্বর্ণ ও মুক্তার কঙ্কণে অলঙ্কৃত করা হবে। যেখানে তাদের পোশাক হবে রেশমের।
English (Saheeh International):[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.
35:34

وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا ٱلْحَزَنَ ۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ

Bengali:আর তারা বলবে- যাবতীয় প্রশংসা আল্লাহর যিনি আমাদের দুঃখ কষ্ট দূর করে দিয়েছেন। আমাদের প্রতিপালক অবশ্যই পরম ক্ষমাশীল, (ভাল কাজের) বড়ই মর্যাদাদানকারী।
English (Saheeh International):And they will say, "Praise to Allāh, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative -
35:35

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلْمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ

Bengali:যিনি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে আমাদেরকে স্থায়ী আবাস দান করেছেন। সেখানে ক্লেশ আমাদেরকে স্পর্শ করে না, ক্লান্তিও আমাদেরকে স্পর্শ করে না।
English (Saheeh International):He who has settled us in the home of duration [i.e., Paradise] out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."
35:36

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا۟ وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُم مِّنْ عَذَابِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى كُلَّ كَفُورٍ

Bengali:আর যারা কুফুরী করে, তাদের জন্য আছে জাহান্নামের আগুন। তাদের জন্য কোন সময় নির্ধারণ করা হবে না যে, তারা (নির্ধারিত সময় আসলে) মরে যাবে, আর তাদের থেকে শাস্তিও কমানো হবে না। প্রত্যেক অকৃতজ্ঞকে আমি এভাবেই প্রতিফল দিয়ে থাকি।
English (Saheeh International):And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them1 so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We recompense every ungrateful one.
35:37

وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَـٰلِحًا غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَآءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِيرُ ۖ فَذُوقُوا۟ فَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ

Bengali:সেখানে তারা চিৎকার করে বলবে- হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! বের করুন আমাদেরকে, আমরা সৎকাজ করব, আমরা যে কাজ করতাম তা করব না। আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এতটা বয়স দেইনি যে, তখন কেউ নসীহত গ্রহণ করতে চাইলে নসীহত গ্রহণ করতে পারতে? আর তোমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারীও এসেছিল। কাজেই শাস্তি ভোগ কর, যালিমদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
English (Saheeh International):And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us;1 we will do righteousness - other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper.
35:38

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَـٰلِمُ غَيْبِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

Bengali:আল্লাহ আসমান যমীনের অদৃশ্য বিষয় সম্পর্কে অবগত। অন্তরে যা আছে সে সম্পর্কে তিনি বিশেষভাবে জ্ঞাত।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, Allāh is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
35:39

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُۥ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

Bengali:তিনি তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে (নিজের) প্রতিনিধি করেছেন। অতএব যে কুফুরী করবে তার কুফুরীর জন্য সে নিজেই দায়ী হবে। কাফিরদের কুফর তাদের প্রতিপালকের ঘৃণাই বৃদ্ধি করে। কাফিরদের কুফর তাদের ক্ষতিই বৃদ্ধি করে।
English (Saheeh International):It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss.
35:40

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ شُرَكَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ كِتَـٰبًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِّنْهُ ۚ بَلْ إِن يَعِدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا

Bengali:বল- তোমরা কি তোমাদের শরীকদেরকে দেখেছ আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা যাদেরকে ডেকে থাক? তারা পৃথিবীতে কী সৃষ্টি করেছে তা আমাকে দেখাও; কিংবা আকাশমন্ডলীতে তাদের কোন শরীকানা আছে কি? কিংবা আমি কি তাদেরকে কোন কিতাব দিয়েছি যাত্থেকে কোন সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণের উপর তারা আছে? বরং সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীরা একে অপরকে প্রতারণামূলক ওয়া‘দা দিয়ে থাকে।
English (Saheeh International):Say, "Have you considered1 your 'partners' whom you invoke besides Allāh? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom? [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion."2
35:41

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ أَن تَزُولَا ۚ وَلَئِن زَالَتَآ إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا

Bengali:আল্লাহই আসমান ও যমীনকে স্থির রাখেন যাতে ও দু’টো টলে না যায়। ও দু’টো যদি টলে যায় তাহলে তিনি ছাড়া কে ও দু’টোকে স্থির রাখবে? তিনি পরম সহিষ্ণু, পরম ক্ষমাশীল।
English (Saheeh International):Indeed, Allāh holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him. Indeed, He is Forbearing1 and Forgiving.
35:42

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ لَئِن جَآءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْ إِحْدَى ٱلْأُمَمِ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا

Bengali:আর তারা (অর্থাৎ মক্কার মুশরিকরা) শক্তভাবে কসম খেয়ে বলত যে, তাদের কাছে সতর্ককারী আসলে তারা অন্য যে কোন সম্প্রদায়ের চেয়ে অবশ্য অবশ্যই সৎ পথের অধিক অনুসারী হয়ে যাবে। কিন্তু তাদের কাছে যখন সতর্ককারী আসল, তা বাড়িয়েই তুলল তাদের ঘৃণা,
English (Saheeh International):And they swore by Allāh their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than [any] one of the [previous] nations. But when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion
35:43

ٱسْتِكْبَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ ٱلسَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ ٱلْمَكْرُ ٱلسَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِۦ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا

Bengali:যমীনে উদ্ধত আচরণ আর কু-চক্রান্ত। কু-চক্রান্ত তাকেই ঘিরে ধরবে যে তা করবে। তাহলে তারা কি তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের উপর (আল্লাহর পক্ষ হতে) যে বিধান প্রয়োগ করা হয়েছে তারই অপেক্ষা করছে? তুমি আল্লাহর বিধানে কক্ষনো কোন পরিবর্তন পাবে না। তুমি আল্লাহর বিধানে কক্ষনো কোন ব্যতিক্রম পাবে না।
English (Saheeh International):[Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way [i.e., fate] of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way [i.e., established method] of Allāh any change, and you will never find in the way of Allāh1 any alteration.2
35:44

أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُۥ مِن شَىْءٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا

Bengali:তারা কি পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করে না? তাহলে দেখত, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পরিণাম কী হয়েছিল। তারা তো শক্তিতে ছিল এদের চেয়েও শক্তিশালী। আসমান ও যমীনের কোন কিছুই আল্লাহকে অপারগ করতে পারে না। তিনি সর্বজ্ঞাতা, সকল শক্তির অধিকারী।
English (Saheeh International):Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allāh is not to be caused failure [i.e., prevented] by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.
35:45

وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرًۢا

Bengali:আল্লাহ মানুষকে তার কৃতকর্মের জন্য পাকড়াও করতে চাইলে ভূপৃষ্ঠের একটি প্রাণীকেও রেহাই দিতেন না। কিন্তু তিনি তাদের জন্য একটা নির্ধারিত কাল পর্যন্ত সময় বিলম্বিত করেন। অতঃপর তাদের সে নির্ধারিত সময় যখন এসে যায়, (তখন আল্লাহর ফয়সালা কার্যকরী হতে এক মুহূর্তও বিলম্ব ঘটে না), কারণ আল্লাহ (প্রতিটি মুহূর্তে) তাঁর বান্দাহদের পর্যবেক্ষণকারী।
English (Saheeh International):And if Allāh were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allāh has ever been, of His servants, Seeing.
